My friend told me her office is hiring a dental receptionist and if I was serious about it, she'll refer me.

Oh man and she said to ask for $17!
She said to ask for more, not minimum of $15(the range they would offer is $15-$20) since I do have my RDA license(woo woo!), x-ray experience, coronal polish experience, and other dental experience from externships, and that I can jump in the back to help sterilize or do whatever is needed.

Let's see.... $17x32 hour work week..

So, bi-weekly= $880

Yes! That takes care of rent! The next weeks check would go to gas, phone, credit card, food, car needs, home care stuff, and rainy day stuff.

There are already two ladies who will have working interviews next week.

I am afraid they will reject me because my teeth aren't perfect and that's super important because that's the image patients see when they step right in!

It's a catch 22, just like a dentist told me.

But, if I can be the best receptionist they've admired, I am sure they'll keep me and have the dentist fix my teeth on the spot and waah lahh! Problemo is no mo'.
