>> The value of a dollar. During these tough economic times I did have to say no to myself when I wanted something from the store. I was being a mother haha.
'it's not on the list!'
I would see chips, candy, delicious foods and pass by it and disappointedly say no...except that one time I couldn't resist. So many cute clothes I'm looking for, but, I can't buy it. I still need a blazer, long knit buttonned jacket, pumps, and evening going out outfits.
>> One time the BOY asked,
"you're not wearing that windbreaker jacket are you?"
Hey now! It's a Harujuku Lovers green/light tan-yellowy color. Not total windbreaker jacket like you may think of when it's raining hiking weather or something. Looks like a cheerleader jacket in the colors it was in haha.
Anyways, he goes on asking how many jackets I have and I said a lot. I guess I wear the same ones around him.
Then he says,
"I remember you wore that one sweatshirt and it looked nice, I've only seen you wear it once, you should wear it more often."
I suppose he was trying to make me wear something else beside my Harujuki jacket that night cause he didn't like it.
One jacket is from my ex, so, I can't buss that around him cause that'll be drama. I can see it now:::
'Where you get that from?'
'My ex got it for me.'
'Take it off.'
'No.'
'You two aren't dating anymore.'
'So, it's comfy and warm.'
'I'm your bf now.'
I think if it gets to that point I'll straight up ask him to buy me more jackets! Then again, he'll comeback with- get a job!
I can't win, argh!
>>I am looking for a 2nd job if I end up getting an RDA full-time job.
Target would suck, but, I would get a discount woo. BUT, they're not hiring.
Hostess? Hmm. I do enjoy the tasty foods. Discount!
BUT, who would hire a Saturdayer and a Sundayer(I need a shift where I can be able to fit church in the morning).
I need ideas.
>> I hate waitressing. I broke glass when I dropped off the drinks(I had more than 1 tables drinks balanced on the tray). We weren't allowed to set the tray down on their table so I figured I'd place just the front tip of the circle tray and hold the back with one hand and grab the drinks with the other. But, I had to pour a drink into a glass using both hands so I raised my knee up to balance the tray. I guess my glass placement skills sucked cause when I gave some drinks to that table the tray balance was uneven and as I poured into a glass, the tray slid to the side and ka-boom! *glass smashed glass smashed*
I explained to the table
"I'll be right back. Don't move."
I went to get the broom and pan.
The manager already came over to the table when I was there picking up glass. She goes,
"You can't just leave you have to pick up the glass."
OMGee! No you didn't tell me to pick up broken up pieces so I can cut myself and have blood dripping everywhere. I got myself a broom and pan to clean it up, okaaaaay?!! You can risk your life picking it up! Of course I didn't say anything back to her, but, I ranted to people. Nobody liked that manager anyways. Her and this deusch named Tim. My former co-worker and I be back talking about him fo sho'...saying he's the grinch and feeling sorry for who ever or "it" wakes up next to him and how he must hate life to make others miserable. There might as well be a Team Hate Tim, the world and all things living would be on it cause if Tim passed by a flower and just gave a look, the flower would just wither and die.
Anyways...to the point- no thanks miss waitress job.
>> I haven't fell in "love" with a room so much! The woodback closet totally hit the spot! Plus 2 vanity sinks aka 2 mirrors to look at myself, yes, vain! Super clean! I am still thinking about the place. Is this place meant for me God? Will someone outbid or get it before I have a chance to start packing and buying furniture? I see it later today. So...if it is meant to be. I trust Him in the outcomes of what's meant to be.
I get a lake view says the roomie moving out. Sweeet! Go away mosquitos!
I might have to borrow money from the credit card. Interest rate is up the wazuuu! I need a new bedroom set. No need for big wooden dresser, I'll get those plastic drawers like in the pic for my non-hangable clothes. Btw, I need to find a store that has the zipper plastic covering for clothes, can't let it dust. A desk and lamp should suffice too. I think I might start doing blog videos from that closet lol. Great background, can't emphasis that woodback enough lol. And besides it is fun between all the colorful clothes. My collection will be forced to get bigger cause of that massive closet. Shoes too!
Yup...it's going to be great.
The roomies are Christian and one of them leads a community study at another house, woo woo! So my faith will totally grow because of them. Thanks Jesus!
**EDIT 7:34pm*
>> So I went in person to check it out and it actually felt smaller than the pictures. Boo. But, I asked some questions and still like it. The water bill is already part of the rent, woo hoo! So it's just electricity and internet for utilities. Cable if I get a TV in my room cause there isn't one in the living room. The living room is plain. Just a sofa and loveseat. Nothing homey about the living room. That's okay. I'll be in my room doing my thang and besides I should be out working ... 2 jobs yikes! I called a nearby grocery store to see if they are hiring and they said no. This makes it tough. IF a grocery store isn't hiring, what's left????
Okay back to the place. It's spacious enough. The backyard view is a lake and a there's running trail. Also, pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, and a weight room. The girls haven't been to the weight room. I was telling BOY about the weight place and he wants to move there haha. So the rent deal is pretty good. Security patrol on golf carts. Assigned parking. It's only one floor. Eh. So the room are all close by. If only it was on its own floor-that be perfect. My suite is the biggest of the bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom is like half the size of mine. So, the complex is alright.
Time to make that money and hope to move by March.
*happy thoughts*
